CITY OF PORT ST. JOE, FLORIDA NOTICE TO RECEIVE SEALED BIDS RFP 2023-04 ESAD #1 and #2 Lift Station Rehabilitation Project Sealed bids for the City of Port St. Joe for Lift Station Control Panels will be received at City Hall, 305 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd., Port St. Joe, Florida 32456 up until 3:00 PM EST, Friday April 14, 2023. Bids will be publicly opened and acknowledged, Friday April 14, 2023, at 3:05 PM EST, at City Hall. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked with bidders name, address, date and time of opening, and RFP number for ESAD #1 and #2 Lift Station Rehabilitation Project. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This bid is for the Rehabilitation of two lift stations in St. Joe Beach that are currently named ESAD #1 and ESAD #2. The bid consists of new control panels, aluminum backboards, pumps, level controls, discharge valving, discharge piping, hatch covers, electrical work and connection to an existing 10 forcemain as indicated in the Bid Specifications. Costin Sr. Blvd., Port St. Joe, Florida 32456 until 3:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, April 14, 2023 then opened and read publicly at 3:05 p.m. EST. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to City of Port St. Joe City Hall, 305 Cecil G. Costin Sr. Blvd., Port St. Joe, Florida 32456. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be clearly marked on the outside as BID for CITY OF PORT ST. JOE RFP 2023-04 ESAD #1 and #2 Lift Station Rehabilitation Project and the envelope should bear on the outside the BIDDERS name and address. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the BID must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the OWNER and properly marked. All BIDS must be made on the required BID form. All blank spaces for BID prices must be filled in, in ink or typewritten, and the BID form must be fully completed and executed when submitted. Two original BID forms are required. The OWNER may waive any informalities or minor defects or reject any and all BIDS. Any BID may be withdrawn prior to the above scheduled time for the opening of BIDS or authorized postponement thereof. Any BID received after the time and date specified shall not be considered, no exceptions. No BIDDER may withdraw a BID within 60 days after the actual date of opening thereof. Should there be reasons why the contract cannot be awarded within the specified period the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the OWNER and the BIDDER. All work shall be performed by Florida licensed contractors, copies of those licenses shall be included in the bid submittal. ESAD #1 This station rehab consists of replacing all the components listed above and includes a new top riser/cap to accommodate the new USF lid along with the installation of 380LF+- of 6 C900 PVC and DR18 HDPE piping to connect to the existing force-main as indicated in the plans. Wet-well is 6 in diameter and the existing top riser/cap is 13. ESAD #2 This station rehab also consists of replacing all the components listed above and includes a new top riser/cap to accommodate the new USF lid. Connection to the force-main shall also be performed as shown in the plans.
