Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services The North County Transit District (NCTD) requires an auditing firm to conduct a series of annual financial audits for NCTD’s reporting requirements. The term of the contract will be for a period of three (3) years with two one (1) - year options (total of five years if all options are exercised). NCTD’s fiscal year begins on July 1 and ends on June 30. The first audit for the proposing firm will be for the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2024. NCTD anticipates the awarded firm to conduct annual interim fieldwork audits in July/August and final fieldwork audits in early October. NCTD’s previously audited financial reports, including NCTD’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and Single Audit reports, can be found online on the District’s website at https://gonctd.com/about-nctd/accountability/. NCTD’s Total Federal Financial Assistance in fiscal year 2023 was $57,605,338. Please see Section 03: Scope of Work for more information.
