Track Changes The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806- 5000, on behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) and the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD), intends to enter into a section 815 Prototype Other Transaction (OT) Agreement with the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Consortium for a period of ten (10) years.
The OT Agreement with the Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Consortium is for a coordinated research and development program to develop and mature technologies in the critical field of countering weapons of mass destruction. The consortium is comprised of a mixture of traditional and non-traditional contractors, small businesses, for-profit and not-for profit entities, and academia, representing the key players in the industry.
The Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Consortium is an open consortium with a low barrier for membership. Any interested company, academic institution, or contractor can become a member and join the consortium in order to be able to participate in the Government projects that will be conducted under this Agreement.
