from qualified professional consulting firms to prepare a complete streets plan for Tamarack Avenue between Carlsbad Boulevard and Carlsbad Village Drive. This project was highlighted in the Sustainable Mobility Plan as a “Transformative Corridor” project that will provide a multimodal backbone network of high-quality bikeways and pedestrian facilities so that Carlsbad residents and visitors have an array of travel options that do not require driving. This corridor has also been noted to be a priority of the community and will build upon recent planning efforts to improve safety along the corridor. The scope of services, the content of the proposal, and the selection process are described in this Request for Proposal. Other Details The professional consulting firm to be awarded the contract shall be retained through the completion of the project, including any contract time extensions. The Consultant shall provide one lead individual who shall be available to report to and coordinate directly with the City’s Project Manager for this project.
