All responses must be clearly labeled – “Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and Ancillary Equipment Project.” http://www.greenvillemi.org/ Request For Proposals Evaluation of Proposals The City will review submitted proposals and other relevant information (cost, best value for the municipality, subjective considerations) regarding the product to which the City wishes to purchase. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any response for any or no reason and to waive any minor irregularity if determined to be in the best interest of the City of Greenville. Individuals or companies submitting paperwork as part of the proposal selection process understand, by their submission, the above evaluation process. Selection of Proposals Once the winning proposal is selected, the City will draft an agreement. Upon bidder approval and execution, it will be presented to Council for approval. Scope of Work The City of Greenville will accept bids for the purchase and delivery of one unmanned aerial vehicle, plus ancillary equipment (including warranties), as an entire purchase package. The proposal return must also include a minimum three year warranty for parts, labor, and repair. No sales tax may be added to the proposal price as the City of Greenville is sales tax exempt. Additional specifications for the unmanned aerial vehicle and ancillary equipment are found on the next page of this document. Companies proposing equipment outside of the bid specifications need to also provide the justification as to why the bid specifications could not be met and how the equipment proposed meets or exceeds the requested merchandise listed.
