Related Documents Request for Proposals: Behavioral Health Crisis Recovery CenterQuestions & Answers: Behavioral Health Crisis Recovery Center (BHCRC) Request for Proposals More Information: Benton County (the “County”) is soliciting proposals from behavioral health service providers to develop and operate a Behavioral Health Crisis Recovery Center (BHCRC) to serve Benton and Franklin Counties and all cities within those boundaries. The BHCRC is a behavioral health services that are immediately available to individuals who are experiencing a mental health crisis, a substance use disorder crisis or both. The BHCRC is intended to supplement existing behavioral health services and are not intended to replace existing services within the community. Through the release of this request for proposals the County seeks vendors to provide crisis treatment services that support the following goals: Avoid unnecessary law enforcement and emergency medical services involvement during a behavioral health crisis Avoid unnecessary incarceration of individuals during a behavioral health crisis Avoid unnecessary use of emergency departments during a behavioral health crisis Deescalate crisis before it intensifies, worsens, or increases to the level that inpatient psychiatric treatment is needed The full Request for Proposals document has been included (linked above).
