Bid Title:Barns Salvage Category:Public Works ProjectsStatus:OpenBid Recipient:Alan Lytton Description: Request for Proposals/Invitation for BidsTo purchase salvage rights for two barns located at 11203 SR 532, Stanwood, WA 98292. PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE CITY OF STANWOOD NO LATER THAN 03/08/2023 at 2:00 PM PROPOSAL Proposals are being accepted for salvage rights for two barns to be moved off site or demolished for salvage and moved off site. The rights to salvage one or both of the barns will be offered for sale by sealed bid. The barns must be removed from the site on or before March 31, 2023. Bidders may bid on one or both of the barns.All permits, relocation costs, insurance requirements, and shipping costs for the barns are the responsibility of the successful bidder(s). The successful bidder(s), whether moving or salvaging, will be required to clean up the site including all debris and remnants of the barns from the site. The successful bidder(s) will be solely

responsible for disposal of the debris costs.The successful bidder(s) will be responsible for leaving the site in a stable, safe condition, including repairing/restoring any areas damaged during removal/salvaging operations. The successful bidder(s) is responsible for securing the site during demolition or removal. The successful bidder(s) will maintain the integrity, and keep secured, the chain link fence currently around the property. The successful bidder(s) will remove the barns from the roofline to the concrete foundations. The successful bidder(s) will not be responsible for removal of the foundation walls, footings, or on-grade concrete slabs. Full proposal and bid documents are available below.
