Sealed bids for construction of City of Sylvester’s Stormwater Resiliency Improvements FY2021 CDBG-MIT will be received until ¬¬¬¬11:00 am on September 29, 2022, at Sylvester City Hall, 101 North Main St, Sylvester, GA 31791, to be publicly opened and read. No bid may be withdrawn for a 60-day period. Work must be performed by a Georgia licensed contractor. Work includes providing products and performing all labor to modify three (3) box culverts, including excavation, shoring, sheeting & erosion control. Work to be awarded in one contract with a time of 180 consecutive days. Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents are at Sylvester City Hall. Bid forms must include Bid Bond no less than 10% of bid amount. If awarded Contract, bidder will submit Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of Contract amount. Bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing. Pre-bid meeting will be held 11:00 am on September 20, 2022 at Sylvester City Hall, 101 North Main Street, Sylvester, GA 31791. Permits are expected to be acquired and no expected land acquisition. Any Contract awarded under this Advertisement is funded by grants from Georgia DCA-CDBG Program.
