Amendment 01 to this effort for Broadband Global Area Network Systems is to specify
the transit/carrying cases shall be the Pelican 1550 Case with 4-Piece Foam Set (Black) MFR # 1550-000-110. Attch 1 Govt Spec BGAN has been updated to reflect this change. In addition this ammendment will extend the Response Date to 6 September 2018 to allow interested parties to consider this change.
This solicitation FA520918Q0130 for Broadband Global Area Network Systems is utilizing a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS 334111, Electronic Computer Manufacturing.
Additionally this is a Brand Name or Equal requirement for Thrane (Manufacturer: Cobham) Model Explorer 710 portable Broadband Global Area Network (BGAN) devices, each with hard travel case.
The Government has deemed the salient characteristics contained in Attachment 1 Govt Spec BGAN as the minimum requirements essential in meeting the Government's needs.
