NOTICE TO BIDDERS CRAFTON BOROUGHALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA Sealed Proposals will be received by Crafton Borough through PennBid until 10:30 a.m. prevailing time on June 29, 2023, for the following project: JOHNSTON STREET SEWER RELOCATIONThe project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 130 Lineal Feet of 24” PS115, ASTM F679 sanitary sewer pipe; four (4) sanitary manholes, wyes, laterals, and cleanouts; grouting and abandonment of existing sewers; clearing and grubbing; traffic control; resident notification; erosion and sedimentation control measures; existing utility protection; cistern removal; and associated site restoration, complete in place. Copies of Drawings, Specifications, Instructions to Bidders, General Conditions, Forms of Proposals and Agreement, and all information related to this Solicitation are available at no cost on the PennBid site ( www.PennBid.net). All

proposals must be submitted electronically via PennBid ( www.PennBid.net), before 10:30 a.m., prevailing time on June 29, 2023. At that time, Bids will be opened with results displayed publicly on PennBid. No hard copy bids will be accepted. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage rates must be paid on this Project. There will be a mandatory Pre-Bid meeting on June 13, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. Contractors who intend to bid must attend for their bids to be considered as responsive. Proposals shall be made to Crafton Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. Performance, Maintenance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement upon acceptance of the Proposal from the successful Bidder.
