rel="no-follow" href="mailto:drowley@shrewsburyma.gov">drowley@shrewsburyma.gov 508-841-8506 Qualifications: The Town of Shrewsbury is circulating this Invitation for Bids (IFB) with the intention of acquiring bids to furnish and deliver Itron compatible water meter encoder receiver transmitters (ERT’s) capable for use with advanced meter reading (AMR) and advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) system technologies for use with analog, digital, and ultrasonic water meters. The Town has standardized the AMR/AMI compatible water meter endpoints to enable functionality with the data collection system and to allow utilization of water meters from multiple meter manufacturers to build upon the Town’s advanced metering infrastructure. The ERT’s must be capable of reading in both mobile and network modes and able to switch between modes. All bids are subject to the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 30B. The Town will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Town of Shrewsbury reserves the right to reject all bids as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities. Such actions will be deemed to be in the best interests of the Town.
