Bid Number:#4-2023 Bid Title:Highway Salt Barn Category:Engineer's OfficeStatus:Open Description: LEGAL NOTICE PROJECT #4-2023 COUNTY OF WILLIAMS SEALED BIDS FOR HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT SALT BARN The Board of Williams County Commissioners will receive sealed bids in their office, East Annex 1425 East High St, , Bryan, Ohio until 9:30 AM Local Time on March 30, 2023 for Highway Department Salt Barn. Complete sets of bidding documents, including plans and specifications for the project will be available for examination, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a. m. to 4:30 p. m. at the below named office. Copies may be obtained by request from the Williams County Engineer, 12953 County Road G, Bryan, Ohio 43506, 419-636- 2454 or on the engineer’s web site www.wmscoengineer.com at no charge. Bids must be submitted on the forms found in the Bidding Document; must contain the names of every person or company interested therein.

Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The Owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than July 31, 2023 . Each bidder shall be required to file with his proposal a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. The guaranty shall be a bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. A certified check or cashier’s check for ten percent (10%) of the bid can be submitted in lieu of a bond. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the bid amount. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wages rates on Public Improvements for Williams County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239 All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. SPECIAL ATTENTION MUST BE GIVEN to all of the requirements contained in the this bid packet, particularly to ORC 4115 prevailing wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirement for a performance bond for 100% of the contract price.
