Opportunity Summary
ITB PURPOSE:
The purpose of the ITB is to establish a Contract for State Library Renovation for the benefit of Department of Administrative Services Enterprise Asset Management Division, Planning & Construction Management. The Work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and services for, and incidental to, the completion of all construction Work in connection with the project described in the Contract Documents.
MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE:
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on November 1, 2019 at 10:00AM (Pacific), located at State Library first floor conference room at 250 Winter Street NE, Salem, OR 97301.
Any statements made at this conference will not change the Plans, Specifications or other Contract Documents unless an Addendum has been issued from DAS and advertised on the ORPIN System.
BIDDERS OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVE ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS

PROJECT ESTIMATE:
The following range is a project estimate for bonding purposes: 4 -4.2m.
PROJECT COMPLETION DATES:
PROJECT START DATE: January 2, 2020
SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION: April 7, 2020
FINAL COMPLETION: July 1, 2020
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES:
Liquidated damages of &1, 000.00 will apply to the contract resulting from this ITB. (See Exhibit 5 for detailed information)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The State Library is a historic 5-story building located at the Capitol Mall in Salem, Oregon. The planned renovations that are the subject of this ITB include the following tenant improvement areas: a portion of the first floor (1,174 square feet), a portion of the second floor (3,114 square feet), the majority of the third floor (7,643 square feet), and the fourth floor (2,116 square feet). Additionally, these tenant improvement areas may also include an entire building lighting upgrade; and other mechanical upgrades.
