Refrigerated Truck Services

The State of Wisconsin (State), Consolidated Agency Purchasing Services (CAPS) on behalf of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA), requests Bids for refrigerated trucking services from the Wisconsin Veterans Home at King (WVH-K) and the Wisconsin Veterans Home at Union Grove (WVH-UG). This service shall be used to transport food and supplies between WVH-K and WVH-UG. Meals for the residents at WVH-UG are prepared by WVH-K staff in a cook-chill food operation. These meals shall be transported by refrigerated truck approximately one hundred-fifty (150) miles, from King to Union Grove. In addition, the pharmacy at WVH-K provides medications for WVH-UG. These medications shall be transported in sealed and locked containers and will accompany the meals. WDVA does not guarantee it will purchase any specific quantity or dollar amount. Bids that require a minimum quantity of commodities or services to be ordered shall be rejected.
