The County of Riverside Purchasing Department on behalf of the Riverside Sheriff’s Office (RSO) is seeking proposals from competent parties qualified in providing Public Safety Software for Computer Aided Dispatch, Mobile Data, Records Management, and JailInformation Management Systems for Riverside County Sheriff. RSO is open to cloud or client server architecture if it meets the outlined needs and is well supported. Key Principles: The primary goals of this solicitation is to procure the necessary software as described herein, appoint a committee to evaluate and select the software provider(s) and appoint a project team to oversee the software implementation project. Objectives and Outcomes: The primary objective of this project is to replace the existing CAD/MDS/RMS/JIMS applications with a new solutioncapable of providing the functionality required for day-to-day operations of the RSO. The expected outcome is a fully functional “turnkey” system which meets all the needs and requirements specified herein and partnership with a Bidder and/or Bidders which provides the necessary training and support for the life ofthe system.
