(HP) laptop and desktop computers and associated accessories (hereinafter “Hardware”) and accompanying warranty services per the specifications in the Pricing Page (Exhibit D). The City intends to either enter into a lease-to-own arrangement with the successful bidder for the provision of the hardware or purchase the Hardware outright. If a lease-to-own arrangement is bid and selected, the City expects and intends that a written lease-to-own arrangement will be agreed to between the two Parties, upon the City’s selection of the most responsive and responsible Bid, with ownership of the Hardware to transfer from the lessor to the City at the end of the lease term. The City then intends to purchase the Hardware for a nominal fee ($1) at the end of the lease term. The City further reserves the right to source its own financing agreement partner for the Hardware, at its sole discretion. It is the City’s sole discretion at the time of ordering to use the lease-to-own option or pay the upfront purchase price agreed to in the agreement. Bidders shall provide both a lease-to-own option and an option to purchase equipment outright with their bid response in order to be considered for contract award. Any bids received without a lease-to-own option and an option to purchase equipment outright may be deemed non-responsive. Other Details All bids will be opened on, or immediately after 3pm on March 02, 2023. Results of all received bids will then be made available to the public on Planetbids. Vendors will be required to provide four (4) original wet signature hard copies when requested (once Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted) by the City of San Diego. ***Please note that each uploaded cannot exceed 150MB – regardless of which type of file (Response File or General Attachments) is being uploaded. See below for additional instructions: 1. File Requirements: Proposers will be required to provide one or more types of files depending on the solicitation: a. This may be the complete proposal submission or the Executive Summary, or other document depending on the solicitation type. b.
