Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud after 11:00 A.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, Mandeville, Louisiana. Any bids received after 11:00 A.M. will be returned unopened. The work of this contract consists of furnishing and installing new potable water mains, valves, hydrants, service connections and appurtenant construction inclusive of removal and replacement of Portland cement concrete and asphalt concrete pavement, temporary environmental controls, and temporary traffic controls. A complete set of Contract Documents may be secured from Fairway Consulting and Engineering located at 822 West 22nd Avenue, Covington, Louisiana 70433 (985-288-2770) by licensed Contractors upon payment of ONE HUNDRED dollars ($100.00) per set. This payment is refundable to bonafide bidders returning the Documents in good condition within ten (10) days after the Opening of Bids.
