USMS - Intent to Sole Source - Norfolk Parking Spaces

In compliance with FAR 5.201 as well as FAR 5.203(a)(1), this Intent to Sole Source is being posted. The United States Marshals Service (USMS) intends to negotiate and award a firm fixed price purchase order to The City of Norfolk, 222 E. Main St., Norfolk, VA 23510 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), Only one awardee is capable of providing the supplies or services required.Market research efforts conclude that The City of Norfolk is the only source that can provide the requirement for parking spots for the USMS Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force in a City of Norfolk-owned parking garage for a period of one (1) year. The justification for this requirement to be awarded to a sole source is due the requirement of have parking within close proximity to the USMS building and to ensure the safety of USMS personnel.This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotes. A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only.
