6515--Notice of Intent to Sole Source to MolecuLight Corp for the MolecuLight i:X System

Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 1901 and as implemented in FAR 13.106-3(b)(3)(i), the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with MolecuLight Corporation for their MolecuLight i:X System as a responsible source to provide the needed equipment. MolecuLight Corporation is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only vendor with authorization and certification to provide certified preventative maintenance services/equipment for the above-mentioned equipment. There are no authorized service companies outside of MolecuLight Corporation. Only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy the agency requirements. This will be a firm fixed price contract for one year. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112 with a business size standard of 1,000 Employees and PSC: 6515. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and

telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as an OEM letter from MolecuLight Corporation giving authorization to sell and distribute the mentioned equipment to Elizabeth Ratcliff, by 12:00 PM Local Time (MST) on August 25, 2022. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the contracting officer will proceed with the sole source negotiation with MolecuLight Corporation.
