ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS RE-BID BALLINGER ROAD BRIDGE #400098 REPLACEMENT TIP # B-5553; WBS ELEMENT # 46311.3.11 CONTRACT NO. 2016-037A CITY OF GREENSBORO, NC Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Greensboro, NC, in the Engineering Conference Room located on the 3rd floor of the City of Greensboros Melvin Municipal Office Building until 3:00 p.m. local time, on January 21, 2021, for the above listed contract as shown in the plans and described in the Special Conditions. The Melvin Municipal Office Building is located at 300 West Washington Street, Greensboro, NC 27401. At the same time, they will be opened and read publicly. The Bid Opening will then be available via Zoom. Bidders may submit questions regarding the intent of the contract documents in writing to Mr. John Fersner. Sealed proposals may be mailed or delivered to his attention at the City of Greensboro Engineering and Inspections Department at the Melvin Municipal Office Building. John Fersner can be

The work in this contract consists of removing the existing bridge and replacing the bridge with a 70 long single span prestressed concrete cored slab bridge. Reconstruct approximately 1,400 linear feet (LF) of roadway, including sidewalks, utility relocations, and intersection improvements at Wakefield Drive. Sections will not be awarded separately. Plans and specifications may be purchased from the City of Greensboro for a non-refundable fee of $150.00 payable by check to "The City of Greensboro". All plan holders and other interested parties will be emailed the Zoom meeting link along with the Meeting ID and any applicable password prior to the Pre-Bid meeting.
