RFP for Installation of Fencing and Access Gates

The City of Duluth will receive proposals to provide, furnish, install and warranty/maintain all
materials, labor and equipment necessary for the installation of steel and wooden fencing, electronic access
gates and all corresponding appurtenances at the Duluth Public Safety Building located at 3276 Buford
Highway, Duluth, Georgia.
The project involves the following specifications and installation requirements:
- 600-0” of 8-0” tall Black chain link fence 6 guage with privacy slats
- 500-0” of 8-0” tall Black ornamental steel fencing with spear top
- (1) 26’-0” wide by 8-0” tall Black ornamental steel rolling enter and exit gate with access
control. Access control to include Sharp AutoVu ALPR camera, integrated with existing
Genetec Security Center system.
- (1) 24’-0” wide by 8’-0” tall Black ornamental steel rolling exit only gate with access control.
- (1) 4’-0” wide by 8’-0” tall Black ornamental steel swing push bar and pedestrian entrance
gate. Access control must be compatible with Genetec Security Center system.
- (2) 8’-0” tall double swing Black chain link fence gate with privacy slats (Retention Pond
Access)(Lockable)
- Removal and disposal of existing 8’-0” wooden fence and existing 6’ chain link fence
- All Black ornamental steel gate systems will be set in concrete footings 4’-0” deep. All other
fencing will be set in concrete footings 2’-6” deep
- Removal of any obstacles (including a minimum of (3) three trees) as necessary to complete
job. Any tree removal will require corresponding stump grinding.
- No bond is required to be submitted as part of the proposal.
