Redacted J&A -- ACFT Validation

The U.S. Government requires continued external validation of the development and scoring of the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT).  The contract requires simulation of the physical demands of significant and heavy common Soldier and MOS tasks and comparison of these performance demands to ACFT test event performance demands. These MOS tasks will be determined and finalized in consultation with the US Army CIMT researchers.  The simulation data will be collected for each common, critical and high demand common Soldier and MOS task to include joint angles and joint angle profiles, joint velocity, joint acceleration, and joint torques for all major joint directions of the body reaction forces at each contact point. In addition, physiological data such as metabolic energy expenditure, heart rate, substrate utilization, etc. will be collected and analyzed.  Data will compare the physical and physiological performance requirements for the common Soldier and MOS tasks against proposed US Army
