Facilities Management (CFM) - Western Region is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, coordination, and services necessary to design and build a central utility plant on the VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System campus in Reno, NV 89502. The work includes, but is not limited to: (1) complete Design Build architectural/engineering services to develop final design drawings and construction documents from a previously completed schematic design; (2) construction of a new central utility plant including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and generators; (3) demolition of the existing boiler plant; and (4) ancillary construction services including parking/pavement, connection to existing utilities, commissioning, et al. This project is intended to be a Design Build contract procurement. The proposed NAICS code 236220 is applicable to this acquisition, with a size standard of $45.0 million. The anticipated Magnitude of Construction is between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000. The anticipated Period of Performance is 1,460 Calendar Days from the Notice to Proceed.
