Overview: The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids for a contractor to supply all materials, labor and equipment necessary to provide and install a carport storage facility at the Iowa DOT Fairfield Maintenance facility per plans/specifications attached in this solicitation. Project Period: The estimated project period to ASAP upon contract award and completion by November 18, 2022 or as determined by the Construction Manager at the pre-construction meeting. This is project is exempt from state sales tax. It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule.
