The material supplied shall be Granular “A” from a quarry. The material must meet Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications (O.P.S.S.) 1010 April 2004.Representative gradation test results shall be provided to the Township for every 1000 tonnes of material at least one week prior to being incorporated into the work. Physical test results shall be provided to the Township one week prior to the commencement of the work. All results submitted prior to commencing work must be current and representative of the material that will be used.If the material becomes suspect, then samples will be taken by the Township and Contractor and sent to a third - party laboratory. These results will be removed and replaced at the Contractors cost.Road project pricing will include pre-grade, supply of material, trucking, application of water (water truck), grading, final grading, any traffic control and signage required and compaction costs by the contractor.The road work must be completed before June 12,
2024. The Township's dust control program will follow shortly after this project. Any cost of delays to the dust control program will be passed on to the successful bidder, should the June 12, 2024 date not be met, without written consent from the Township.Yard supply materials will include material and trucking to the specified yard.The aggregates supplied to the Township of Lake of Bays Garages One and Three must be completed by July 19, 2024.Roads projects and volumes to those roads or delivered to Township garages could be increased, decreased, added or removed without notice.
