No Online Q&A Online Q&A No Contact Information Contact Info Purchasing 909-395-2012 purchasing@ontarioca.gov Bids to Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services Asphalt, concrete and oil materials needed for various city projects and programs for FY 24/25, FY25/26, FY26/27.Multiple vendors may be chosen to accommodate for product availability, delivery method and expediency. Bidders shall provide instructions to the City, as a PDF in the “Attachments” tab, on advanced order placement for materials that will ensure delivery by 7:30 AM; unless otherwise, requested by the City. Note: Late deliveries result in operational problems and expense for the City; therefore, inconsistencies between vendor promised and actual delivery time may result in the City canceling the agreement or at minimum using alternate sources of supply. Bidder is required to submit one haul rate regardless of shipping point and provide location of shipping point in the "Comment" field. Bidder must submit pricing in the electronic form on the Line Items tab and attach PDF of completed and signed Non Collusion Declaration form in the designated field. Other Details Bidder may begin bid submission at any time, save information, modify or withdraw bid up to the bid closing deadline. In the event that the supplier is unable to hold pricing for the project duration stated, please provide the term of which your are able to hold pricing. City would prefer supplier to be in full compliance with respect to the attached specifications for the supply and delivery of bulk asphalt and concrete to the City of Ontario Municipal Utilities and Community and Public Services Agencies. Please follow CalTrans specifications for aggregate materials, which is located in Sections 26. Notes The bidder is solely responsible for “on time” submission of their electronic bid. The City will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an ebid confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder’s sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids. The City reserves the right to award its total requirements to one bidder, or to apportion those requirements among several Bidders as the City may deem to be in its best interests. The City reserves the right to waive any immaterial irregularity in any bid if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
