Bid Title:Request for Proposal: Transportation Engineer Category:Bids & Requests for ProposalsStatus:Open Description: Lower Paxton Township (Township) secured grant funding through two PennDOT grant programs (ARLE and Green Light Go) for upgrades to the traffic signals at Colonial Road and its intersections with King George Drive, Valley Road and Crums Mill Road/Devonshire Road. Attached Exhibit 1 shows the locations of these intersections and the scope of work planned as part of this project. This project is referred to herein as the “Colonial Road Project”. Lower Paxton is hereby accepting proposals from engineering firms for Transportation Engineer. The scope of these projects will include but is not limited to: traffic studies, roadway and signalized intersection design, bridge design, permitting and bid preparation, general municipal engineering tasks, right-of-way acquisition support, construction management, construction inspection.
