TERM -
The term shall be from the day after Board Award to April 30, 2023 and automatically renew for four (4) additional one (1) year periods, with final expiration date being April 30, 2027. GCISD has the option to extend this RFP at the end of the performance period for up to 120 days if determined to be in the best interest of the district to ensure availability of products and/or services.
The District anticipates awarding this contract to multiple vendors which is in the best interest of the District.
Awards will be made throughout the open period of this solicitation and will be made upon acceptance of a proposal response. As proposal responses are received or on a periodic basis, they will be opened, evaluated, either accepted or rejected by the district, based on the criteria outlined within this solicitation, and presented to the Board for award. Vendors are encouraged to submit responses as soon as possible.
Each time vendors are presented to the Board for award,
this RFP will be temporarily closed (RESPONSES CANNOT BE SUBMITTED DURING THIS CLOSURE) and will reopen after the Board meeting. The bid number and name will remain the same, but include a "PART #" (ie General Services -
PART 1). The part number will increment with each reopening.
Although the District is legally required to accept paper bids,
we strongly request that bidders submit this bid electronically. Electronic bidding will eliminate errors, eliminate unnecessary work, and is more friendly to the environment. Your cooperation is appreciated.
Any proposal received later than the specified time is disqualified. The District is not responsible for lateness or non-delivery of mail, carrier, etc., and the date/time stamp in the Purchasing Office shall be the official time of receipts. Proposals may not be submitted by facsimile or email.
