This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a sole-source firm-fixed price solicitation. The proposed action is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to: Hardinge Grinding, CAGE 1EEW7 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.The solicitation is intended to be “unrestricted” in business size, other than full and open competition/after exclusion of sources. This is proposed to be a FAR 12 effort. Description of requirements: One (1) Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Cylindrical Horizontal Grinding Machine in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 22-20-1202 dated 09 August 2022. Performance period/completion 270 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection at Origin and Acceptance at Destination.
