The project replaces the Coyan Road Bridge over South Columbia Basin Irrigation District’s Pothole East Canal. The new bridge will be in the same general footprint with a wider driving surface to meet current standards and functional requirements, increasing from 24’ in width to 32’ in width, containing two (2) 10’ travel lanes and 6’ shoulders. The bridge length is 100 feet between pavement seats and completely spans the existing earth canal. The project also includes installing guardrail, reconstruct approx. 1200’ of roadway, HMA paving, and other related work.
