On October 8, 2013, the Solano County Board of Supervisors adopted a Resolution establishing the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA) and Informal Bidding Procedures as administered under the State Controller’s Office. The Informal Bidding Procedures allow the County to create a list of qualified bidders by January 1st of each year for public construction

projects. Contractors wishing to be added to, dropped from, and/or update information to the County’s current qualified bidders’ list need to submit a request. Current information will otherwise be carried forward on the list for 2023. Contractors that have registered on the Informal Bidders’ List will be notified about the County’s public construction projects valued at less than $200,000. Project notification will include a general project description, location of where to obtain more detailed information, and the time and place of bid submission at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of the submission deadline and bid opening.
