The Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office leads the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) efforts and coordinates with domestic and international partners to safeguard the United States against CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear) and health security threats. CWMD will assist the federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal (FSLTT) communities in safeguarding the Nation from CBRN attacks or incidents through collaborative partnership building, knowledge sharing, and capability development. CWMD serves as the principal agent for all CWMD matters through integrated efforts with FSLTT governments, and the private sector. The DHS CWMD Operations Support Directorate Training program requires technical expertise in developing and executing a training program to train mission stakeholders to operate chemical and biological detection and identification equipment. This equipment training includes identifying and distinguishing between toxic industrial chemicals/materials (TIC/TIM), chemical warfare agents (CWA) and precursors, select biological agents and suspicious or otherwise unidentified chemical materials or other WMD Threat Materials.See attached RFI for full desciption and
