65--Censis Tangent 22KW Medical Grade Computers

Pursuant to 38 U.S.C 8127(b), the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO 21) 150 Muir Road, Martinez, CA 94553-4668 intends to negotiate a sole source award for the procurement of Censis Tangent Medical Grade Computers with Censis Technologies, Inc., 117 Seaboard Lane, Suite F205, Franklin, TN 37067.

The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System currently utilizes the Censitrac Instrument Tracking System for decontamination in Sterile Processing. The Brand name Censis is the only medical grade computer that can work with the facility s existing instrumentation. The Government contemplates awarding a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order for this requirement. The intended procurement will be classified under North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) 334118.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
