The selected firm will be required to provide an Engineering Assessment Report, all Permits, Geotechnical Services, Topographic Survey, Utility Coordination, Hydraulic Analysis, Roadway and Bridge Design and Plan Development, Pavement Design, Right of Way Plan Development (including Abstracting, R/W Engineering and R/W Staking, as needed), Real

Estate Acquisition Services (Appraising, Negotiation, and Relocation, as needed), and Construction Phase Services. Additional services may also be required, such as Environmental Documentation, Wetland Mitigation, Archaeological Investigations, Historical/Architectural Investigations, Intelligent Transportation Systems Design and Subsurface Utility Engineering. The environmental document for the corridor is to be provided by others under Des 1900096. Additional environmental documentation by the selected firm may be needed for median cable barrier installation outside the limits of the corridor environmental study. It is preferred that the selected firm have experience with alternate procurement methods for contract delivery. The selected consultant's fee proposal shall be due 45 calendar days after the selection date for this RFP item. This contract may utilize the INDOT eInvoice application. Please refer to the Supporting Documents for additional information. Des 2002313 Work Description US 31 Access Control from 3.0 miles N of SR 38 to SR 931, in Hamilton,Tipton Co. RP 135+80. to RP 156+41. The scope of work includes upgrading existing mainline US 31 to a Limited Access facility by removing median crossovers, turn lanes, and all access points not currently or proposed to be an interchange as well as adding multiple overpasses at the following proposed locations; 266th St, 296th St, CR 500 S, Division Rd, CR 300 N and CR 450 N. Specific intersection treatments to be determined throughout corridor development. The existing interchange at US 31 and SR 28 will be evaluated for enhancements to improve traffic flow. Median Cable Barrier will be installed within this new stretch of US 31 Limited Access roadway but also extend south and north from 161st St to SR 26., Est. Construction Amt. $40,000,000.00.
