Karen Little 818-238-5466 BurbankPurchasing@burbankca.gov Bids to Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services The work under this Contract shall be performed entirely within the City of Burbank, and consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services, and performing all work necessary for the sanitary sewer improvements, permanent concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, and repairing/replacing existing private improvements in kind as described in Section 2 of the Special Provisions. Before proceeding, all excavations require a Public Works excavation permit. All excavations are required to be properly backfilled, compacted to a minimum 90 percent modified proctor relative compaction, except for the top 6 inches of subgrade which shall have minimum 95 percent relative compaction (or self-compacting 1-sack cement-sand slurry backfill where approved by the Engineer), and resurfaced with similar material that existed prior to trenching unless otherwise noted on the Plans or described in Section 2 of the Special Provisions. Other Details In addition to an Excavation Permit from the City of Burbank Public Works Department, this work requires encroachment permits from the Caltrans and the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA) / Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). Notes Complete sets of the Contract Documents must be obtained from the City via download from the City of Burbank online bid website https://www.planetbids.com/portal/portal.cfm?CompanyID=14210#.
