The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements to repair the AAR-44 Energy Detection Assembly, NSN: 5865-01-494-7162EW, PN: 640300; Circuit Card Assembly, NSN: 5865-01-564-3130EW, PN: 649610.NSN 5965-01-564-3130EWPN 649610Circuit Card AssemblyNSN 5965-01-494-7162EWPN 640300EDA-Cooler AssemblyThis requirement is for repair services. The anticipated repair services strategy is a five year contract with five annual ordering periods and will continue through FY27. The projected Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) for these items is a total combination of 165 of any of the above listed NSNs.These items are integral and critical to the functionality of the AAR-44. AAR-44 is a passive Infrared Warning Receiver designed to provide warning of Surface to Air Missiles (SAMs) and pass information to countermeasure systems. The AAR-44 Missile Approach Warning System (MAWS) warns of threat missile approach, enabling the effective employment of evasive maneuvers and electronic and infrared countermeasures.Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. Interested sources must have performed repair and maintenance of the AAR-44 variant systems in the past.Any prospective source will need to ensure their facility and personnel are qualified to generate and handle classified material as this contract will require the source to have access to secure/classified
