to Owner's Agent Description Scope of Services The District is soliciting Proposals from qualified consultants, firms, or companies interested in providing the District with a comprehensive classification and compensation study that ensures the currency of job/classification descriptions and the appropriate placement on the District’s salary schedules (“Work” or “Services”). Expertise within a higher education environment is desired, especially within the California community college system. The purpose of the Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is for Vendors to demonstrate their background, qualifications, competence, and capability to perform the Services described in the Scope of Work and address the key objectives outlined in the RFP. Prior to submitting a Proposal, Vendors are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the applicable Services requested. This study has a large scope with an aggressive timeline and is seeking Vendors that are willing to fully engage and drive this study within the agreed timeline. The District anticipates this study will occupy a significant amount of time from the successful respondent and that the respondent will be proactive in establishing bi-monthly communication to meet the targeted deliverable date. Submission of a Proposal shall be deemed conclusive evidence that Vendor is able to provide such service, and shall constitute a waiver by Vendor of all claims of error in a Proposal, withdrawal of a Proposal, or combination thereof, under the executed contract, or any revision thereof. PROPOSAL SUBMISSION: 1) All Proposal responses must be submitted online through PlanetBids. The District will not accept hard-copy Proposals. 2) All questions must be submitted through PlanetBids before the Q&A deadline listed above. Other Details Notes Special Notices Bidders must be registered as a vendor on the District's registered Vendor list on PlanetBids. Only those responses received from registered vendors will be accepted. Please do not add California Sales Tax to your pricing calculations. The District does not award based off of an amount including tax and the applicable amount of CA Sales Tax will be added to the Grand Total during the issuance of a Purchase Order. Bidders are responsible for downloading and reviewing all documents under the "Documents" tab, including but not limited to the RFB Document, Scope of Work/Specifications, and all Terms and Conditions. Submission of a Bid is evidence that Bidder understand the requirements set forth in this RFB, agrees to all terms and conditions, and has the ability to provide all products and services necessary to meet the requirements set forth in this RFB.
