SOLICITATION - GLFER Port Clinton Ecosystem Restoration ProjectThe USACE Buffalo District is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a single award task order contract for the GLFER Port Clinton Ecosystem Restoration Project.The objective of the project is to construct an expansion of an existing Lake Erie coastal wetland for fish and wildlife habitat in the City of Port Clinton, Ohio. The work will include excavation, disposal of some excavated material, other earthwork (channeling, potholing), planting and seeding, invasive species treatment, but not limited to these.TYPE OF CONTRACT AND NAICS: The result of this RFP will be one (1) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC). The North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this effort is 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.This will be a Low Priced, Technically Acceptable procurement.This will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside competitive procurement.The SATOC will have a five (5)
year ordering period.The ordering capacity for this SATOC is $1,000,000.A site visit will be 24-August-2018.Please be advised that this requirement may be delayed, revised, or cancelled at any time before award.SOLICITATION WEBSITE: The official solicitation and any subsequent amendments or updates, when posted, will be available free of charge by electronic posting only and may be found at Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued. Telephone and Fax requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Project files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download the solicitation for this project, contractors are required to register at the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov. Solicitation Amendments, if/when issued, will be posted to the above referenced website for electronic downloading. This will be the only method of distributing the solicitation and any amendments by the Government prior to closing. It is the Offerors responsibility to monitor the website for any amendments or changes to the solicitation.REGISTRATIONS: Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the following database:System for Award Management (SAM): Offerors shall have and shall maintain an active registration in the SAM database at http://www.sam.gov to be eligible for a Government contract award. If the Offeror is a Joint Venture (JV), the JV entity shall have valid SAM registration in the SAM database representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. If at the time of award an Offeror is not actively and successfully registered in the SAM database, the Government reserves the right to award to the next prospective Offeror.
