attached SF18.  The SF18 form is being utilized to generate the applicable clauses from the Standard Procurement System. This requirement is not eligible for small business set-aside.The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) intends to award on a sole source basis to Prysmian Group for the following manufactured products:  Part number FC9700000 - FIBER FML SPECIAL Prysmian group is located in Taunton, Massachusetts.The required cable from Prysmian is in support of the validation by Technical Direction Agent (TDA) of performance for tactical and non-tactical components already installed or to be installed and in use. The TDA is required to have high density cable specimen built to meet the identified specifications to validate these cable designs feasibility prior to system fielding and gain concurrence from the program sponsors.  The requested cable validation specimens were identified as the only product to meet interoperability requirements with appropriate fidelity and accuracy.Please include shipping/freight cost Dahlgren, VA 22448-5114. Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) will be utilized for award in accordance with FAR Part 13.  The order shall be firm fixed price.   All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.  The completion and submission to the Government of an offer shall indicate the Offeror’s unconditional agreement to the terms and conditions in this solicitation.
