Proposal Schedule: Issuance of ITB Wednesday, January 5, 2022 Deadline to Submit Questions Monday, January 10, 2022 Proposals Due Monday, January 21, 2022, 5:00pm Estimated Project Start Monday February 21, 2022 Description of Work: The project consists of removing eight (8) old bus shelters throughout various locations in the City of Asheville service area that are in poor condition and/or no longer served by the Asheville Rides Transit (ART) transit system. Scope includes salvaging existing materials for reuse when specified, and disposing of unwanted shelter
parts. Any existing concrete pads at shelter locations should remain intact for future reuse, or be repaired if damage occurs during demolition. Proposal Documents: This Invitation to Bid (ITB) is posted on the City procurement website at www.ashevillenc.gov/bids . This is the official source of this solicitation. All updates to this solicitation shall come in the form of published addenda and shall be published to the same location. The City will not be responsible for full or partial sets of Contract Documents including any addendum obtained from any other source.
