Call for Participants - PD CSW Vendor Demonstration Day 2023

Product Director Crew Served Weapons (PD CSW) is hosting an invitation-only, Vendor Demonstration Days at Strongpoint Shooting Complex (Waverly Hall, GA) in the May 2023 timeframe to conduct market research for Future Generation Medium and Heavy Machine Gun efforts and novel technologies for future and/or legacy weapon systems. Vendor Demonstration Days are also an opportunity for Industry partners as well as government entities to obtain direct customer feedback from Stakeholders and other participants. The focus of this event is for Industry and Government partners to demonstrate Future Generation Medium and Heavy Machine Gun efforts/novel technologies to inform Government requirements. Technologies may include, but not be limited to: recoil management, novel materials (for weight reduction/increased durability/lubricious coatings), suppressors/barrel technologies, optics stabilization, intelligent shot counters, target tracking software, reduced range ammunition, fire control and

the like. Participating vendors/government entities can choose to either host a static display, conduct live-fire events, or both. Participants are encouraged to partner with weapons/ammunition OEMs. The Government will not provide any weapons or ammunition for use. Vendor Demonstration Days provide an opportunity for participants to present their concepts, prototypes, and hardware to Stakeholders including, but not limited to, PEO Soldier, PM Soldier Lethality, PD Crew Served Weapons, PM Fire Control, Maneuver - Capability Development Integration Directorate, Maneuver Requirements Division, Army Futures Command, Soldier Lethality Cross Functional Team, Combat Capabilities Development Command - Armaments Center, Joint Service Small Arms Program (JSSAP), Special Operations Command and various others. Participants desiring to participate shall complete the attached form and provide to the below Points of Contact. Participants may provide additional supporting information limited to five pages. The Government reserves the right to invite or revoke vendor invitations to this event. Participant information must be submitted no later than February 24, 2023 to be considered for an invitation. Further guidance, maps, instructions, and timelines will be provided to those chosen to participate. No award is intended as a result of these Vendor Demonstration Days nor does the Government intend to pay for any information received. Any response to Vendor Demonstration Days is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding award. The Government will not be responsible for any expense incurred by a participant's decision to partake in the Vendor Demonstration Days. All travel and other associated costs are to be assumed by the interested participant. A lack of attendance to the Vendor Demonstration Days does not preclude participation in any future solicitations, if any are issued.
