Mass Spectrometer for Laboratory Medicine Program at UHN 2324-195Closing Date: 01/17/2024 2:00:00 PM ETDetail: 2324-195 Purpose of the Procurement This Request for Proposal is issued by UHN for the purpose of soliciting Proposals from interested Proponents for the provision of a Mass Spectrometer, Liquid Chromatography and Gas Generator System to UHN and (at their option) other Purchasers. Estimated Contract Award Date The Work is to be performed from the contract award date (anticipated to be April 2024) for a period of Five years. Options The description of any options as follows: Recurring Contracts For recurring contracts, an estimate, if possible, of the timing of subsequent notices of intended procurement. Recurring Contract is defined as a procurement resulting in the award of more than one contract, or in award of contracts in separate parts. n/a Deliverables The deliverables are listed as follows: UHN is seeking the following: A Liquid Chromatography Triple Quadrupole Mass
Spectrometer (LC-MS/MS) System that shall consist of, but not be limited to the following major components, complete with any other items required to make this a fully integrated and operational system: • Ultra high performance liquid chromatography system • Triple quadrupole tandem mass spectrometer • Gas generator able to accommodate operation of minimum one LC-MS/MS system • Uninterrupted power supply (UPS) • Operating/Acquisition/Data analysis software • System delivery, installation, verification and training • Warranty, support & post-warranty service coverage The LC-MS/MS system shall be suitable for quantitative analysis of small molecules in clinical diagnostic lab, with applications including but not limited to therapeutic drug monitoring, endocrinology, and drugs of misuse identification. The equipment must be new (not used, demo or refurbished) and a current production model (not a prototype or developmental model). IVD certified equipment is not required and will not be considered as part of this tender. Liquid Chromatograph and Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer do not have to be made by the same manufacturer.
