The selected vendor will be expected to provide a product or products meeting the following general business requirements. General Business Requirements – (The five general business requirements below must be met in order for the product or products to be considered by the University.) General Business Requirements: 1. Product offers anti-virus and anti-malware functionality. 2. Product offers multiple consoles and distributed management capabilities. 3. Product offering includes robust and available support in the form of tiered support, phone communication and web resources. 4. Product offers solutions compatible with multiple operating systems including Windows, MAC, and Linux (including Red Hat, and Ubantu) running on multiple device platforms including: servers, desktops, laptops, tablets and virtual environments, such as VMware. 5. Respondent offers a defined matrix of product features, functions, options, and solutions with pricing and other services as detailed below. Additional criteria are detailed in Section V.
