Sound TransitDBE Program Disparity StudyRP 0246-23Closing Date: 05/13/2024 11:00:00 AM PTDetail: Greetings: Sound Transit is requesting Proposals from a firm to plan, conduct and prepare the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program Disparity Study. The Consultant shall provide a report on the current market availability and capacity of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, minority businesses, women owned businesses and their utilization. The report will identify any disparity of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, minority businesses, women owned businesses and small business firms in transportation or similarly related engineering and construction industries. The Consultant shall conduct a Disparity Study and Availability Analysis that will assist Sound Transit to identify factors to consider in determining whether disparity exists, and the extent expressed for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, minority businesses, women owned businesses and small businesses. Areas for the

Disparity Study shall include Pierce, King, and Snohomish Counties. See Exhibit C for Data Sources / Data Availability. The Consultant shall research and identify DBE/SBE and potential D/SBE utilization in Sound Transit contracts from the period between January 1, 2020 – December 31, 2023.
