The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Detroit District is seeking firms that can provide architect and engineering services in Dearborn, Michigan in accordance with the Scope of Work as follows:USACE Detroit District is seeking A-E Services to design a 29-acre watershed detention basin with an inlet diversion structure and fixed crest weir outlet structure to reduce damages caused by recurring flooding in the Dearborn Heights area.  The project is located at the northeast corner of Powers Avenue and Inkster Road in Dearborn Heights, MI.Scope of Work includes but is not limited to:  Data collection (Geotechnical Sampling/analysis, Chemical Sampling/analysis, wetland delineation, topographic survey), hydraulic modeling utilizing the most current version of HEC-RAS, Design Documentation Report development, Plans and Specifications development, Construction Cost Estimate development, Value Engineering, Permit Support and Pre-award activities.The estimated cost of this AE design project is
between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The estimated cost of the construction project to be designed is more than $10M.This Sources Sought announcement is for planning and market research purposes only and is NOT a Request for Quote or Proposal.No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this Sources Sought Notice.
