The City requires a colocation data center space to host existing IT infrastructure (server, storage, and network) currently located in its

secondary datacenter. Cologix Canada, Inc. has a colocation data center building located within the east geographical area of the City of Vancouver, to ensure City-owned fiber termination. The data center building is in compliance with the current-day seismic code, and meets the Tier 3 standard as defined by the Uptime Institute. The dedicated space provided to the City will be private and secure, have at least 12-foot-high steel walls, and steel doors. The minimum sizing provided will include 22 cabinets, with growth potential of up to 150kW, including applicable cooling. Cologix Canada, Inc. will provide two (2) meet-me-rooms with a minimum separation of over 250ft, or diverse connectivity from building point of entries to the dedicated colocation data center space. The City will be provided with direct access to Azure ExpressRoute and AWS DirectConnect onramps without using any third- party network systems. The contract value is approximately $900,000 during a three (3) year contract term.
