The Government of Alberta is committed to choice in education, which includes support for the creation and expansion of charter schools. As part of this commitment, the Government of Alberta purchased the SMART Technologies Building at the University of Calgary. The Building became the Calgary Charter School Hub and is intended to accommodate several Charter Schools. The Calgary Charter School Hub Society, through agreements with the Government of Alberta, is responsible for operating the Building and carrying out leasehold improvements to accommodate additional Charter Schools in the future. Alberta Education requires the Contractor to deliver a comprehensive financial and operational review of the defined Capital Project, including a review of all associated agreements, and the methodology and development of the Calgary Charter School Hub for occupancy by additional public charter schools Contract duration The estimated contract period will be 23 month(s), with a proposed start date of 2024/04/02.
