This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart. 12.3 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The purpose of this combine synopsis/solicitation is for the RADON TESTING AND INSPECTION at USCG Station Marathon, FL.  The requirements in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW), the contractor shall provide qualified individuals, labor, tools, equipment and materials for building inspection, radon testing and appropriated method of radon mitigation in accordance with EPA and HUD guidelines for radon. The homes (built 2010) are three (3) floors at approximately total of 1900 square feet.Prior to submitting a quote, it is mandatory to examine the entire Statement of Work (SOW) and it’s highly recommended to visit the facility for evaluations and to become
familiar with existing conditions under which the work will be performed, along with verifying all measurements.   The service shall be conducted during normal work operation hours (0730-1630) or (7:30 am to 4:30 pm), Monday through Friday except for Federal Holidays).  Access to the site shall not be permitted on the weekends or holidays without prior approval from the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) in writing. The contractor shall adhere to all safety requirements.
