OC Waste & Recycling is soliciting bids from qualified businesses interested in entering into a firm-fixed price contract for Fusion Machine Rental.
All questions pertaining to this Invitation for Bid (IFB) must be submitted through BidSync. Any County response relevant to this IFB other than through or approved by OC Waste & Recycling
Procurement Services is unauthorized and will be considered invalid.
*Bidders must fill out the attached Fusion Machine Rental Pricing, Bidders Certification, Company Profile and References Forms and submit with bid to be deemed responsive. *
**Bidders must download attachment “Fusion Machine Rental Pricing” complete, and upload/attach to bid submittal. All other forms may be completed online. **
*Bidders are advised to carefully read the County Terms and Conditions, Insurance Requirements, and the Model Contract including Attachment A (Specifications and Contractor Pricing) and Attachment B (Payment Terms and Invoicing Instructions), prior to submitting a bid. Usage is not guaranteed. *
** Equivalent Items: Any references to brand names and/or model numbers in this solicitation are intended to be descriptive, but not restrictive. Bids offering equivalent items meeting the standards of qualifications specified in the solicitation may be considered, providing the bid clearly states the brand name, how the item differs from the specified brand and submits manufacturer specifications sheet and/or provides samples with the bid. Determination of equivalence shall be at the sole discretion of the County, and the County reserves the right to request a sample for determining equivalence with the specified brand. Additionally, Contractor submitting equivalent items must complete the References Forms attached to this Bid with comparable projects using the equivalent brand and specifications of equipment being submitted. Failure to provide these requested references shall deem bid non-responsive.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the Bidder to verify that all pieces of equipment necessary to make the system work properly are provided by the Bidder at no further cost to the County. Certain mounting hardware and cables to make the system complete may not be listed and should be accounted for in the Bid response. Awarded contractor must provide all insurance requirements within seven (7) days of posted Notice of Intent to Award, but prior to official contract award.
**Contractor shall sign a contract with the County after contract award. If Contractor is a Corporation, signatures shall be provided in accordance with the Corporations Code as detailed on the contract signature page. **

Description: Please review Model Contract and Attachment A - Specifications and Contractor Pricing for Fusion Machine Specifications, in order to complete Fusion Machine Rental Pricing. In order to submit an Alternative to Referenced Machine, Bidders must also attach Product Specifications (i.e. Pamphlet, brochures, manuals, product book, all must contain the details and specifications of the machines in order to compare with requested specifications.
