FIRE STATION ADMINISTRATION BUILDING RENOVATION

The City of Calhoun, Georgia will receive sealed bids at the City of Calhoun Purchasing Department located at 700 West Line Street in Calhoun, Georgia from qualified general contractors at 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 for all materials, labor, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the projects in accordance with the contract documents entitled City of Calhoun: Fire Station Administration Building Renovation Bid #2024-00316 (drawings and project manual dated May 30, 2023); authored by Gregg Sims, Architect; P.O. Box 219, 304 N. Selvidge Street; Dalton, GA 30720 (Telephone 706-226- 5776). A public bid opening will be held the same day after receipt of all the bids in the Calhoun Utility Training Room at the same address. B. Instructions to Bidders: A detailed list of Instructions to Bidders is contained in the Project Manual of the contract documents entitled 000110: Instructions to Bidders. 2. BIDDING DOCUMENTS A. Reviewing Contract Documents: A complete bid packet can be obtained by sending an email request to Margaret Boyd, Director of Purchasing at maboyd@calnet-ga.net. Bidders are responsible for accessing PDF files, having prints made and ensuring all addenda are received. B. Deposits and Charges: NA to this project. C. Use of Documents: It is understood that the use of the Contract documents including the Project Manual and Drawings are for the limited use of bidding and do not constitute a general publication of documents, nor can the Contractor publish these documents. They may be used only to expedite the bidding of the project. 3. MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at 10:00am at 325 South Wall Street, Calhoun, GA 30701.
